Million Dollar Microneedling

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment used to improve the appearance of wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, scarring, and stretch marks. A small hand-held device with fine surgical needles creates thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These stimulate the body’s natural healing response, promoting skin repair and regeneration from the inside out.

How Does It Work?

Microneedling triggers the production of collagen and elastin—the key proteins that keep skin smooth, firm, and youthful—without causing visible damage. Needle depth can be adjusted depending on the treatment area and concern.

Research shows that microneedling can boost collagen and elastin production by up to 400% over the course of several sessions. A 2008 study demonstrated that four treatments, spaced one month apart, led to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after the final session.

Does Microneedling Work?

Yes. Multiple clinical studies support microneedling as an effective, non-surgical, and non-ablative treatment for a wide range of skin concerns, including:

  • Aging: fine lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks
  • Scarring: acne scars and surgical scars
  • Pigmentation: sun damage and hyperpigmentation
  • Skin texture: uneven tone and cellulite

Microneedling has also been shown to be as effective as, and in some cases more effective than, dermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing for stimulating collagen and elastin production. With regular treatments, microneedling can thicken the skin, smooth scars of all sizes, and visibly reduce wrinkles.
